Mr. Allen Kuolun Kao elected as the new Chairman and Chief Commissioner, TGASC-Taiwan

TGASC-Taiwan conduct the Annual General Assembly (AGM) on Saturday 7 June 2025.  A total of 148 National Representatives from local councils attended the AGM and approved the annual report for 2024 and the budget and plan for 2025.  The most important agenda is to elect the Board of the Directors (national scout council) for the term of 2025 to 2028.  Then, the Board of Directors elected Mr. Allen Kuolun Kao as the Chairman and Chief Commissioner for 2025 to 2028.

 
Mr. Allen Kuolun Kao has been a Scout since he was 15 years old. Mr. KAO was the Venture Scout of National Tainan First Senior High School and Rover Scout of Soochow University. He attended the 13th World Scout Jamboree in 1971 in Japan and the 1973 Boy Scouts of America (BSA) National Jamboree. He also joined the International Camp Staff Program (ICSP) in 1978 at Kittatinny Mountain Scout Reservation, Thomas Edison Council, New Jersey.
 
After earning his master's degree at the University of Southern California and serving in the Marine Corps as a Second Lieutenant, he began to join his family's business at Eternal Materials Co., Ltd.  Mr. KAO never stops - Ready to Serve and Be Prepared!

He attended the 23rd World Scout Jamboree in Japan and served as the Deputy Head of Contingents of the 25th World Scout Jamboree in Korea. He also served as Executive Director of the National Board and the advisor to the International Relations Committee of TGASC. He successfully led the 2029 World Scout Moot Campaign Committee and served as a delegate to the 43rd World Scout Conference in Egypt.
